Jamie is the Founder and Director of the JC Golf Academy and has been a PGA Professional for seven years. With a deep passion for coaching from the outset, he represented his Club and County for numerous years before turning professional in 2018. Since then, Jamie has focused on delivering personalised one-on-one coaching, offering a wide range of lessons for golfers of all ages and abilities, utilising some of the most advanced equipment in the industry. Specialising in long-term performance plans, Jamie is dedicated to helping each player achieve their unique goals and elevate their game to the next level.

Our short game specialist. Rob has been a formidable Cornwall county player for over 25 years, representing the South West counties team on numerous occasions as well as the England National squad. Now turning Professional, and in his first year of training, he is fast establishing himself as an excellent coach who is passionate about helping golfers of all abilities reach their full potential and enjoy the game. If short game is your issue, Rob is the man to fix it.

Wayne is a PGA Golf Professional with 25+ years of experience, has coached top Cornwall talents to national success, including Harry Hall, PGA Tour winner.
Combining advanced video analysis, swing tracking tools, and years of coaching, he helps golfers of all levels improve skills and enjoyment. As a Certified Custom Club Fitter, Wayne optimizes performance with tailored equipment to enhance consistency and feel. Whether correcting a slice, recovering distance, or refining your game, he provides clear guidance and actionable steps to help you play better and love the game more.

Former rugby player who has transitioned into a career in golf. Currently a first year PGA trainee, having turned professional in March 2024 with a +1 handicap. Sol has a passion for helping others enhance their golf skills, whether through one-on-one lessons or customised club fittings to ensure they are maximising their equipment’s potential and elevating their game.

Matt is a dedicated and passionate golf coach who works with golfers of all ages and skill levels. Currently in his second year of training, Matt’s focus is on customising the learning environment to suit each individual’s unique needs and goals. He believes that every golfer should play with the right equipment to maximise their performance and enjoyment. As our DGI certified club builder, Matt ensures that each golfer is using the proper gear, enhancing their consistency and feel on the course. With a strong commitment to improving golfers’ skills, his ultimate goal is to help them perform at their very best and elevate their game.

Community Golf Instructor
Marc is our Community Golf Instructor, specialising in working with beginners and junior golfers in a group setting. A highly skilled player with a handicap of 1, Marc brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to his teaching. He focuses on imparting the essential fundamentals to new golfers, ensuring a strong foundation for their game. Marc also leads our junior programs and Get Into Golf sessions each week, making him the ideal coach to help families and groups embark on their golfing journey.
